Well folks, here we are — the last week of June. And if you’ve lived in Arizona long enough, you know what that means: summer didn’t start in June…it started sometime back in April! The temps went from “Hey, it’s kinda nice out” to “I just saw a lizard wearing flip-flops” in a matter of weeks.
Yes — it’s hot. Yes — our APS bills look like ransom notes. Yes — our water bills are higher than a Scottsdale brunch tab. But you know what? We love it.
Because June in Arizona is still fantastic. The pools are full, the barbecue grills are fired up (because let’s be honest — no one barbecues better than an Arizona native dodging monsoon winds), and family time takes center stage.
And even better — the housing market is still moving strong. While the national media loves to keep everyone guessing, here in Arizona we’re watching a serious market shift happening right now. Buyers are motivated, sellers are positioning, and this fall is shaping up to be one for the books.
🎉 But Enough About That… Let’s Talk About the
Five Months of Jason!
If you know me, you know this is my time. I like to call the next stretch of the year The Five Months of Jason — and no, I didn’t just make that up to hear my name. Okay, maybe a little. But hear me out:
- July
- August
- September
- October
- November
See what I did there? It’s five months of fun, food, family, real estate deals, and getting ready for the most exciting time of the year.
🏡 Why Are The Five Months of Jason So Important?
Because this is when things get real in Arizona.
Fourth of July is coming in hot (literally) with pool parties, popsicles, and those neighbors who totally swear those are legal fireworks.
August brings my awesome son Kalen’s birthday — a guaranteed highlight — and also marks the start of our unofficial countdown to cooler weather.
September 1st should be a national holiday. It’s my incredible, beautiful wife’s birthday, and in our house, that’s a month-long celebration. It’s also the unofficial end of summer (even though school’s been back in session since early August — go figure).
October is when we break out the fall decorations, pretend it’s chilly, and start eating pumpkin spice everything while still wearing shorts.
And then November hits, ushering in Thanksgiving and the ramp-up to the holiday season when Arizona real estate starts to get real interesting.
🏠 The Market Heats Up (Even When the Weather Cools Down)
Here’s the truth: Arizona real estate never really slows down. Sure, the seasons shift, the buyers adjust, and interest rates dance around — but people are always moving. Whether it’s upgrading, downsizing, relocating, or chasing that dream home with a backyard big enough for a pickleball court, we’ve got you covered.
And during the Five Months of Jason, things get exciting. New listings hit the market. Buyers get serious before the holidays. Renters start locking down short-term homes for the winter. And The Grandon Group — Arizona’s number one brother and sister real estate team — is right in the middle of it all making it happen.
☀️ So Here’s the Deal:
Enjoy these last few days of June. Soak up the sun, jump in the pool, light up that grill, and take a deep breath. Because starting next week, it’s Jason Season — and trust me, you don’t want to miss it.
